To go from mortal to Buddha, you have to put an end to karma, nurture your awareness and accept what life brings. If you’re always getting angry, you’ll turn your nature against the Path. There’s no advantage in deceiving yourself. Buddhas move freely through birth and death, appearing and disappearing at will. They can’t be restrained by karma or overcome by devils.

Great King, in my teaching of Secret Mantra, the view is attuned to the dharmakaya, but the conduct is in harmony with the way of the Bodhisattva. Do not let your conduct get lost in the view. If it does, you will know neither virtue nor sin, and you will be unable to repair your negativities later on. On the other hand, if your view follows and keeps company with your conduct, you will be fettered by things and their attributes, and liberation will elude you. My Secret Mantra teaching is mostly focused on the mind; the view is the most important thing. In the future, many will have the certainty of words but will not have the certainty of the view. And to the lower realms will they go.

Today, we will be bidding our final farewell to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the founding father of modern Singapore. He spent his entire life building Singapore to what it is today. With his work, Singapore and Singaporeans have raised above others and walk tall among many. Singapore is a place where we proudly call our home and defend with our lives. You have given us this wonderful and great nation with a race called Singaporean. You will forever be in our hearts and in Singapore history.

Thank you Mr Lee, may you rest in peace.

Right from the beginning, in the unborn nature there is nothing to be refuted and nothing to be established. At the level of the unborn, there is no distinction of attaining nirvana or not attaining nirvana.

The unborn nature itself is also not there, because there is no thing which is unborn. There is no relative and no absolute. There are no buddhas and no beings.

There is no view and nothing to meditate on. There is no conduct and no result. The mind is the meditation; the mind free of concepts rests in its own place.

There is nothing that recognizes and nothing that is distracted. There are no characteristics, and the meditation is very clear.

— Chandrakīrti
